Rep. Andy Welch had the honor of speaking with students from Union Grove high School and the German American Partnership Program earlier this month. The German exchange students are visiting the Henry County school system and are staying with families in the Union Grove school district. Later students from Union Grove will have the opportunity to visit Germany and stay with families there.
Henry County schools and Union Grove have participated in the GAPP for several years now. Students and families both have enjoyed the international experiences and the program is very successful. The German language program at Union Grove is thriving.
